And many, many years later, Goldilocks did indeed revisit  the Bear's cottage at the other end of the wood, on the edge of the shoreline. And she found the Little Lost House still full of memories and just sitting there waiting and hoping that someone would return.
                 Sadly, Papa Bear had died suddenly some years before and Mama Bear and moved into a retirement home some ways away. Baby Bear had left for the Mainland as the job market here was either too hot or too cold but up along things were just right.
                   So, the Little Lost House was left all alone full of love and memories and waited and waited for someone to come and visit.
                   On  the day that Goldilocks arrived, despite its shabby and crumbling appearance, the Little Lost House was grateful just to be noticed.
